MINING
The mining industry is responsible for an important part of Brazil’s economy. Nowadays it composes between 4 – 5% of the country’s PIB and generates something approximately half a million job slots. In many countries, this industry is built upon a strategic development vision, generally with environmental, social management and sustainability concerns.
A software that can be applied to the social context on mining companies is GSWEB, developed to the social management and acceding to the modern sustainability and social and environmental management practices. Through GSWEB the user can identify Interested Parts, Impacts Matrix, emit Preliminary Risks Evaluation (Análise Preliminar de Riscos, APR in Portuguese) and all the internal and external communication registers, from communities, owners and social tools.
